How it works
Based on the concept of light absorption – some pigments absorb some wavelengths of light better than others, such as the wavelength of 1064nm or 532nm will be absorbed by certain pigments used in tattoos.
Tattoo removal works by breaking up tattoo ink particles trapped in the skin. When choosing a proper laser, it will be pulsed over the tattoo and direct its energy towards the ink. The energy will soon be absorbed by tattoo ink particles, which instantly shatter into tiny fragments. Some of the fragments will disappear, and other will be discharged from our body with the help of immune system after a short period of time.
Since our skins only absorbs a small amount of energy from lasers with a wavelength of 1064nm or 532nm, an optional locating and shattering towards tattoo inks will be produced without scarifying the surrounding skins.
